Somerset Forest (also known as Summer Seat, Summer Seat)

Introduction

An early 19th-century house now empty, originally the site of The Red Castle. Extensive tree planting of the late 18th century is gone, and the site is now occupied by forest planting, factories and a building site. There are the remains of an ornamental garden and ponds.
