Brief Description

New Weir (The Weir) is a house of the late 18th century overlooking a landscaped garden remodelled in the 1920s, on the bank of the River Wye.

History

The site was in use in the Roman period. The present house was begun in the late 18th century. The planting largely dates from the 1920s onwards.
