Introduction
Mottram Hall is surrounded by a mature park within a boundary wall. Features include the remains of a Victorian(late 19th century) lawn garden with borders, a lake with a tree planted island, a culverted stream, a formal lily pool and some specimen trees. The site is now a hotel and golf course.
