The memorial is a freestanding obelisk surmounted by a ball with a flame finial. There is a WW1 inscription, in raised bronze, on the front face above three rectangular bronze plaques of WW1 casualties in reliefs. There is also a WW2 inscription above two rectangular bronze plaques with names in relief.
