Coronation Garden (also known as The Sensory Garden)

Introduction

The Coronation Garden was constructed to commemorate the Coronation of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in 1953 and was completed in 1955. In 2005 on the gardens 15th anniversary a Sensory garden area was created.

The rear part (western end) of the Coronation Sensory Garden remains a burial ground with all the original undisturbed graves.
