The Burma Garden

Introduction

This memorial garden commemorates those who served in the Far East. It is located outside Bodhyfryd Memorial Hall and features a circular paved area with the Burma Star in the centre. Railway sleepers are also used in the garden, representing the prisoners who worked under forced labour conditions on the Burma railway.
