Brief Description

The site is on a flattish coastal plain. There is a wooded drive with lodges and a peripheral belt enclosing a small park.

History

The grounds of Ballamoar Castle were extensively planted with ornamental trees and shrubs by the owner, William Farrant. The planting took place mainly from the 1850s till the 1880s.
