Mr William Oldham

William Oldham, who lived on High Street, Leicester, was awarded Freedom of the City in 1763. He joined the Leicester Corporation and served the Town as Mayor in 1783. In addition to his commission for Clement Winstanley, he was responsible for building the House of Correction adjoining Freeschool Lane in 1803.
