Lennox Bertram Lee became the chairman of the UK's largest printing company, the Calico Printers' Association (CPA), from 1902 until 1947. During this time he lived at How Caple Court, near Ross on Wye in Herefordshire, carrying out extensions of the house and a redesign of the grounds.
