George Washington Browne

Sir George Washington Browne was an architect active, particularly in Scotland, in the late-19th and early-20th centuries.

He was born in Glasgow, Scotland on 21 September 1853, the son of a Glasgow Corporation Gas Company employee. He died at his daughter's home, The Lodge, Sambrook, Wellington, in Shropshire, England on 15 June 1939.
