Brief Description
Strensham Castle was a mediaeval castle whose moat survives. It stood in a deer park first recorded in 1483 and last mentioned in the 18th century.
History
A licence to crenellate Strensham Castle was granted in 1388. King Richard III proposed that the park be restocked with game in 1483. The park continued to be shown on maps until the late 18th century.
