Introduction

Highcliffe Castle is an early-19th-century house, built to replace another within a park being eroded by the sea. The lawns and shrubbery walks remain but the famous botanic gardens are gone.

The castle is open between February and December.

Castle opening times: Sunday - Thursday 10am - 4pm
Friday and Saturday Closed

Castle Grounds opening time: Open daily from 7:00am. Close at 6:30pm from November to March, 7:30pm in April and October, 9:00pm in May and September, 10:00pm in June, July and August.
