Elmley Castle Park

Introduction

Elmley Castle Park was a 13th-century deerpark and associated castle. The remains of the castle stand within an Iron Age hillfort. A country house was added to the north of the park. This house was demolished in 1960. The remains of the associated kitchen garden stand nearby.
