Introduction

The nursery garden at Edrom Nurseries consists of a trough garden where plants for sale are displayed in troughs and an area where they are planted out in favourable conditions, many in raised beds. A woodland garden is being developed to showcase further stock. The nursery specialises in rock, alpine and woodland plants, including rhododendrons.

History

Two sisters, Molly and Edith Logan Hume, founded the nursery in the village of Edrom in about 1925. Around 1933 the nursery moved to the present site, which was then part of the Silverwells policies.
