William Batt

William Batt was an architect active in Northern Ireland in the latter part of the 19th century. He was responsible for the design of the Stranmillis Gate, a gatehouse and lodge at the entrance to the Belfast Botanic Garden in 1877. The structure, in the Ruskinian Venetian-Gothic style and incorporating a clock tower, was demolished in 1965.
