Ralph Selden Wornum was born in 1847. He studied at University College, London from 1863. Wornum was a Royal Academy travelling student from 1872-73, travelling in France, Italy, Germany, and Holland. After he was admitted to FRIBA in 1888, Wornum practiced on his own.
