Robert More

Robert More was M.P. for Bishop's Castle from 1727-41, and for Shrewsbury 1754-61. He was a Fellow of the Royal Society and a friend and pupil of Linnaeus. He became a noted botanist himself, and is credited with having introduced the larch to England.
