Richard Lane

Richard Lane, an architect and surveyor working in Manchester during the mid-19th century, became recognized for his use of the Greek Revival Style. Notable work include designing the layout of Victoria Park in 1837, St Thomas's Church in 1844 and the Manchester Royal Lunatic Asylum in 1848.
