John Stewart

John Stewart was a Scottish architect of the architectural practice Stewart & Patterson. He was also a resident of the Bridge of Allan. The firm designed the town's war memorial, erected in 1923. They were commissioned to produce ‘something suitable and appropriate. Something that Bridge of Allan could look upon with no feeling of shame.'
