John Haverfield

John Haverfield was the son of John Haverfield, senior, who was the chief gardener of the royal gardens at Richmond and Kew, a post that his son also obtained. In addition to being a gardener, Haverfield was also an architect and played a key role in works at Abbey House, Wolsingham, Norfolk (1806-1816).
