James Alexander-Sinclair

James Alexander-Sinclair is a garden designer, journalist and tv presenter whose career began as a garden contractor in London, England, working for the firm of Terra Firma Landscapes, in the late-20th century.

Since 1992, Alexander-Sinclair has been based in Towcaster, Northamptonshire, England. He has designed award winning gardens for the RHS Chelsea Flower Show and has been involved with work on several private gardens, including the recreation of the gardens at Mount Stuart on the Isle of Bute.

As a television personality, Alexander-Sinclair has helped to present 'The Great Garden Challenge', 'The Curious Gardeners' and 'Small Town Gardens'. He has also written many articles for a number of newspapers and magazines, including The Daily Express, Homes and Gardens and BBC Gardeners' World.
