James Abercrombie, Junior

James Abercrombie, junior was an agricultural improver and surveyor active in Scotland in the mid- to late-18th century.

In 1768 Abercrombie designed the gardens at Glamis Castle, Angus, Scotland. While in Angus he also designed the gardens at Guynd (1775). Later, in the early 1790s, Abercrombie designed the gardens at Arbuthnott, Kincardineshire (1792) followed by the gardens at Ross Priory, Dunbartonshire (1793).
