Henry Wyatt was an architect who worked in the 19th-century. His known commissions include Aldby park, North Yorkshire where he altered and extended the house in the 19th Century. Wyatt enriched the grand hall with classical columns and a splendid cantilever staircase in 1840. Two wings were also added then, to accommodate a ballroom and dining room, but these were demolished in the 1950s to make a more manageable house.
