Charles Wilson

Charles Wilson, son of a builder and wool merchant, was trained from 1827 in David Hamilton's Office. He set up his own practice in 1839 and specialised in Italianate buildings as well as country houses. He was a central figure in the town planning for Glasgow in the mid-19th century.
