Charles Harrison Townsend was an architect who worked in the arts and crafts tradition in the late-19th and early-20th centuries. He worked in the offices of some of the most prominent architects of the period including Sir Walter Scott, Charles Barry Jnr and E. R. Robson before establishing his own practice in 1887.
