FOSHPG are a group of enthusiastic, local residents who
- Encourage local residents and visitors to use the grounds of South Hill Park
- Stimulate interest in the history of the mansion and appreciation for the restoration of the grounds
- Inform visitors about the flora and fauna of the park and promote the four Trails
- Publicise any events organised in the grounds to increase awareness and hence appreciation of the park
- Give visitors the opportunity to volunteer to help maintain the grounds
- Encourage visitors to comment and make suggestions for any improvements to the grounds
- Encourage a more diverse population to use the park by engaging with local schools and interested groups
