John Ainslie

John Ainslie worked as a cartographer and surveyor. He was active from the mid-18th to the early-19th century. In addition to producing maps and land surveys, he also wrote treatises on agricultural improvement. In 1805 he published The Gentleman and Farmer's Pocket Book, Companion and Assistant and in 1812 A Comprehensive Treatise on Land Surveying.
