Plans for the £1.6m restoration of an historic Thames-side garden are to go on show to the public.
Reading Borough Council has drawn up the scheme to revamp the popular town beauty spot, Caversham Court Gardens.
The work on the gardens will see its Grade II-listed buildings restored and landscaping improvements.
Locals are invited to a meeting at Caversham Primary School on Wednesday to see the plans and find out about the new Friends of Caversham Court group.
Caversham Court is listed in the English Heritage Gardens Register of Parks and Gardens of Historic Interest and is located in a conservation area.
