Parks & Gardens UK would like your help to find out!
In September this year we launched an exciting project to compile a gazetteer of war memorial parks and gardens in the UK. The gazetteer will be freely available for download on www.parksandgardens.org from January 2015. It will be updated on a regular basis as new information becomes available.
Submissions and enquiries can be sent directly to Rachael Stamper at info@parksandgardens.org. For submissions, please include the park’s address; some details of its history and especially how it came about; and a brief description of its key features, especially any dedication stone. We also welcome a few photographs, which can include historic images.
