Call for papers: What Capability Brown did for Ecology: the legacy for biodiversity, landscapes & nature conservation

This major conference is being organised with English Heritage, Natural England, the Ancient Tree Forum and others to contribute towards the celebrations of the tercentenary of Lancelot ‘Capability’ Brown. The event will bring together ecologists, landscape historians and archaeologists, land managers and conservationists to look critically at the impact of Brown and his successors on the UK’s landscape.

The call for papers (oral & poster) is open until 31st December 2015.
The event is sponsored and supported by English Heritage, Natural England, BES, ESEH, Sheffield Hallam University, the Ancient Tree Forum and the Landscape Conservation Forum.
