Brief description of site

Penlee Memorial Park has a children's play area and a sensory garden. Within the park is a chapel of remembrance within a memorial garden, which has been recently replanted with sub-tropical plants. A dedicatory tablet is mounted on the gate to the park.

The funding to purchase the site was raised by public subscription as a memorial to those who fell in World War 2.
