Padgate Memorial Park is a recreation ground which features a war memorial to the fallen of World War 1. This takes the form of an obelisk on a stepped base, the whole topped by an orb.

Brief history of site

William Bennett, who came from Padgate, gave the ground to the village in commemoration of the peace of 1918/19.
