Brief description of site

The garden at Ogston Hall was laid out by William Andrews Nesfield in 1865 and the conservatory was by Thomas Chambers Hine in 1851.

Brief history of site

Ogston Hall was the ancient seat of the Turbutt family. William Turbutt was responsible for the extensions to the house in 1768 based on a design by architect Joseph Pickford.
