Brief description of site

Worksop Manor has a landscape park and woodland. Other features include gardens and a kitchen garden.

Brief history of site

The current design is largely a result of work carried out during the mid-19th century. The Duke of Newcastle bought the estate in 1839 and made significant alterations. The park originally dates from the 14th century but the majority of improvements were made during the 18th century.
