Brief description of site

Waterston Manor has early-20th-century formal gardens of around two hectares. Features include a sundial, a stone-edged canal and an orchard.

Brief history of site

The present gardens were designed by P Morley Horder in about 1912, and shown in this new but complex form in Country Life, 12 Feb 1916. The layout and planting is now much simplified, but retains the essential form.
