Brief description of site

Plas Berw is situated on a north-west facing slope above Malltreath Marsh. An early-17th-century courtyard garden is associated with a contemporary house which adjoins the ruins of a 15th-century house. The extensive deer park dates from the 15th century or possibly earlier and has some of its original wall still standing.
