Parks & Gardens UK would like your help to find out!

In January this year we compiled the first ever Gazetteer of War Memorial Parks and Gardens in the UK. It is available online at: http://www.parksandgardens.org/projects/gardening-in-wartime/839-gazetteer-of-war-memorial-parks-and-gardens

Currently the gazetter has over 400 sites on it and we hope to add more through contributions from County Garden Trust volunteers and other local interest groups. The Gazetteer will be updated annually in January of each year.

Submissions and enquiries can be sent directly to Rachael Stamper at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. For submissions, please include the park’s address; some details of its history and especially how it came about; and a brief description of its key features, especially any dedication stone. We also welcome a few photographs, which can include historic images.
